COMMON QUESTIONS

Often, yes. Buildup in the drain can cause water to back up and leak. Cleaning can clear that blockage, but leaks caused by damaged parts or installation problems need repair.
The filters don't catch everything. Dust, grime and mold can build up on the coil and blower wheel inside the unit. Deep cleaning removes buildup that washing the filters alone doesn't reach.
Have the inside checked once a year, and deep clean it when buildup is found. Heavy use or a dusty environment may mean it needs cleaning sooner. Filter cleaning is separate and should follow your unit's manual.
Often, yes, if the smell comes from buildup inside the unit. We'll explain our findings and let you know whether cleaning is likely to help or another issue needs attention.
Yes, if dirt is restricting airflow. We'll check for buildup and let you know whether cleaning is likely to help. A mechanical fault needs repair instead.
